Dollie is a simple, clumsy, nothing-good-about-me teenage girl, who doesn’t dare to dream big.
She makes herself believe that good things happen to everybody else except her. It’s only one fine day when her life changes. From ordinary lass she turns into a pretty princess.
Now she has to choose between her childhood love Nikshay and the seat of power, the throne, which was bestowed upon her as a quirk of fate.
However, life’s not so easy for Dollie. Torn between her love and duty, Dollie becomes the target of ugly palace intrigues.
Though quite a typical ‘rags to riches’ story, there is also an element of the unknown that kept the viewers glued to Dollie and her fight with those plotting against her.
The programme had sensitively portrayed important dynamics of one’s growing years. From acne to crushes, parental pressures and great friendship, Hello Dollie had it all!
Dollie transformed herself from a teeny-weeny teenager to a gracious princess ready to handle the responsibilities that comes along with the throne.
As you all know uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
